March for Life 2013: defending the right to live

National March for Life, Ottawa 2012
This coming week on January 25, in Washington, DC. and in San Francisco the annual March for Life will take place in the  United States. In Canada, it will be held on May 9, 2013, on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Other provinces like British Columbia, Prince Edward Island have their own event to defend the right to life from conception to natural death.

We can support the March for Life held anywhere in the world by praying for an end to the culture of death. We can also get better informed in order to fight back against laws that are morally corrupt and legally permit the killing of the unborn. One of the ways that abortion can be reduced is to get information out to pregnant women that are considering killing their unborn baby. They ought to be shown, and men too, what is actually happening inside their bodies as the marvel of human life develops. An example that visually captures the incredible nature of life in the womb is Alexander Tsiaras' work on medical visualization. He explains how his team visually captured a baby's development from conception to birth and even after the baby is born. If more parents to be could see the wonderful miracle of life becoming life before their eyes, it would be so much easier for them to see and realize that abortion is wrong. Ultrasound technology has done much for us see the unborn, but this new visualization technique takes us there literally inside the womb. You need to see it to believe it.

So, we hope you watch this spectacular and truly magical video as the mystery of God's creation unfolds before one's senses. For in John we read, "I have come so that they may have abundant life and have it in full." (10:10) May the March for Life be a witness to others so that we may all follow the Gospel of Life.

  1. A most wondrous piece of creation.
Womanhood must be made to realize that their body is the temple of creation to which God our Father has bestowed infinite Graces.
A body that should be venerated, not defiled.

  2. Since God is love only a culture of life is acceptable to Almighty God. A culture of life protects all life from conception to a natural death.
