Consider this dilemma: Modern women can be torn between choosing professional careers and being full time stay-at-home mothers. It's not easy, even when she would like too, for a woman today to come to the conclusion that children and family are more important than a career. How would you view a woman's decision to make motherhood her work. Is this a loss or a win situation? Read on and meet a woman who did choose to stay at home.

For modern women there’s a great deal of pressure to get an education and land a good paying job. Women by and large have come to accept the idea of sexual equality. The credo is work hard to do what men have done for so long: Putting one’s career and income ahead of everything else, sometimes including family life.

Toronto now has a new Catholic Centre with a mission to reflect and to promote John Paul II's great vision for human life and the family. The church is run by the religious family of the Institute of the Incarnate Word, IVE. About 500 parishioners were present along with Archbishop Thomas Collins, the pastor of St. Augustine Fr.

(Note to the reader: I have sent this letter to Mary Wagner who was recently arrested for entering two Toronto abortuaries. She is currently in jail at the Vanier Centre for Women.)

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
