Aid to the Church in Need has issued a report titled, Persecuted and Forgotten, about the sad and terrible state of many Christians in the world today. Using information from those who have experienced or witnessed the persecution, the report looks at the plight of Christians in 22 countries. Aid to the Church in Need tries to bring help to our persecuted brothers and sisters through prayer, providing information and a call to action. It's a papal charity whose mission is to help those suffering and even killed because of their faith. Here's a short video that summarizes some of the report's findings:

We need to pray for Christians and other groups all over the world who are suffering, forced to leave their homes and risk being killed for the faith.

It was in 1988 that the Supreme Court of Canada decriminalized abortion. Up to that time abortion was only possible when the life of the mother was at risk.  Mandated once more by an activist court in 2014, Canada's culture of death is presently moving towards the legalization of euthanasia and physician assisted suicide. To better understand the issue and what's morally at stake, every Catholic and person of goodwill should read or re-read the prophetic 1995 encyclical Evangelium Vitae by St.

Did you know that the Sex Show is in Toronto this weekend? It's not the first time. Here how "The 16th Everything To Do With Sex Show Toronto" advertises itself:

In a post tilted "No Christian or person of goodwill should vote for the Liberal Party." We received this pro-death comment from Leigh Wensink: "Why should the rights of an embryo trump the rights of a woman? I don't get to use your organs for the better part of a year against your wishes. Hell, we don't even demand organ donation from corpses!"

We needed more space and time to properly respond. This entry is our response.

Today the Church has the option to celebrate in its liturgy St. John Paul II. He was Pope from 1968 to 2005. There were so accomplishments during his long pontificate. He made 104 apostolic journeys to different parts of the world including Canada. He promulgated the new Catechism of the Catholic Church. He wrote numerous encyclicals and delivered the Theology of the Body at his general audience talks at the Vatican. He also started the World Youth Days and the World Meeting of Families. St.

Canada's long federal election is finally over. Canadians have sadly voted for a pro-death party and prime minister. It's a dark victory for the culture of death. How could we elect a leader who will not even allow a free conscience vote on life issues? Justin Trudeau may look young and attractive on TV, but the reality of what he stands for can only be only found in the killing rooms of innocent lives of our abortuaries and his complete support for euthanasia.

Elementary school children will be taught pretty well the same radical sex curriculum in both separate and public schools.  The Toronto District Catholic School Board has just released some of its teaching resources for the new Health and Physical Education curriculum.

The Institute of Marriage and Family Canada (IMFC) has released a very useful short video on Ontario's radical and age inappropriate sex curriculum. It's titled, "10 Things parents need to know about the new sex ed." It's a good summary for parents to get informed and help them speak about the issue to teachers, politicians, trustees and school administrators.

The 2015 government Health and Physical Education document consists of 239 pages.

In Santo Domingo, Columbia, there's a wonderful sculpture called a "Pregnant Woman" that's carved in rock on the side of a mountain. The sculptor Dubian Monsalve says that the work celebrates and pays tribute to "the woman that gives life, because life is valuable from its conception to its end." In an interview with Aciprensa he said, "It is difficult to be an artist and to be faithful. I haven't had a problem with being an artist and also expressing what I feel and think.

There are many reasons why a Christian or person of goodwill should not support Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party in the upcoming federal election. In a past post titled, No Christian or person of goodwill should vote for Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party we covered a number of them. The entry must have touched a raw nerve with many Canadians because we got several comments most of them supportive but some were critical. This is democracy. We can disagree and move on.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
