A short talk that Fr. Michael Orsi gave for the National Day of Remembrance in the U.S. for Aborted Children is what we need to hear. Fr. Orsi was the chaplain at Ave Maria Law School and is now part of the pastoral team at St. Agnes Church in Naples, Florida.

His brief talk is a courageous example of what we currently need so badly: to boldly speak the truth and a call to action. He's not silent. He's not afraid.

The entire west has been in an economic slump for some eight years. Since 2008, the time of the financial crisis no western country has fully recovered. Many explanations have been given for the malaise. Some of the reasons are that there's an abundance of money flooding the market, interests rates are too low, the bad loans made by banks during the housing bubble or that to too much debt has been accumulated by consumers.

On September 21, another parent protest was held at Queen's Park against the sex curriculum released by the Liberal government in 2015. The event was organized by the Canadian Families Alliance (CFA) and Campaign Life Coalition (CLC). One of the speakers was Dr. Steve Tourloukis. He is the father who has taken the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board to court.

On September 21, a number of parent groups from Ontario came together to oppose once again the Liberal radical sex curriculum that was released in early 2015. The protest rally was held at Queen's Park. There were many speakers from different ethnic communities to tell the government to withdraw the controversial and inappropriate radical curriculum.

One of the speakers was MP Brad Trost who is running for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party.

Today another successful protest was held at Queen's Park against the sex curriculum released by the Liberal government in 2015. The event was organized by the Canadian Families Alliance (CFA) and Campaign Life Coalition (CLC).

There were a number speakers demanding that the Liberal government withdraw the inappropriate and controversial sex curriculum.

On Saturday, September 18, we attended a very practical conference led by Christopher West on the Theology of the Body. The event was held by the Toronto based lay Catholic movement Gethsemane Ministries. You may be asking, what is the Theology of the Body? It's part of the teaching of St. John Paul II. During his pontificate, he gave 129 general audience talks at the Vatican over the years 1979-1984 on the topic of what God has revealed to humanity through the human body.

There has been a strong, organized push in Western countries, including Canada and the United States, to implement comprehensive sex "education" programs in schools. The United Nations has led the sexual charge for decades. In Ontario, the sex curriculum is part of the 2015 Health and Physical Education course taught to students in all elementary grades. The program includes the recognition of "gender expression," "gender identity" and sexual orientation.

Did you know that on June 13, 2016, the province of Ontario started issuing "OHIP" (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) cards that no longer recognize a person's sexuality as male or female, "M or F." That part of the card is now completely left "blank" to accommodate those who claim to be "transgendered." Yes, whether we like or it, there is a governmental move to fully recognize "transgenderism" in Ontario and Canada.

You may not have heard of the Toronto native "artist" Heather Cassils who was born a female but now identifies as transgendered and prefers to use the pronoun "they" rather then she or he. Cassils says that his work defines who he is and that it's "all about self-construction." Bilogy, truth and reason no longer count. What Cassils does and believes could come to a school in your community. Ontario's latest sex curriculum makes Cassils a possible community partner in teaching the curriculum.

Donald Trump gave a speech on September 3, 2016 to an African American Church in Detroit. The mainstream media will no doubt give little or no coverage to its contents. The speech is also bound to be criticized as an act of opportunism. This is why we decided to post it in its entirety so readers can make up their own minds.

This is part of what Trump said:

"Now ... let us turn again to our Christian heritage to lift up the soul of our nation.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
