The Ontario Liberal Wynne government needs to stop co-parenting the children of the province. The government  continues to attack children by undermining family autonomy. Children are not the property of the government. And the new proposed legislation Bill 89, Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act, 2016, is another unnecessary law to weaken the relationship between the parent and child. This natural and biological bond cannot be replaced by a government. It's a bad law that Ontario doesn't need.

The radical sex curriculum introduced in schools through the Health and Physical Education course, in 2015, already undermines family values and parental rights. But this is not enough for the Liberals. Wynne wants to see her own sexual values forced on all children.

Just days after Donald Trump's inauguration as the 45th president of the United States, the were hundreds of thousands of women participating in different marches around the world. This included places such as Berlin, Toronto, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles. It might be accurately called the largest demonstration in the history of the world, that sadly, was much ado about nothing. It was mostly orchestrated fake news by people like George Soros, Madonna and Linda Sarsour.

The motion picture based on the novel Silence by Shusaku Endo was recently released. I have not seen the film by Martin Scorsese, but I have read the disturbing story that is filled with suffering, doubt, faith, hope and death.

The novel takes the reader back to 17th century Japan. In 1540, the Jesuit missionaries led by Francis Xavier brought Catholicism to Japan. By the end of the century, there were about 150,000 Japanese that had converted to Christianity.

Steve Tourloukis is the Hamilton, Ontario father who went to court to court in 2012 to defend his parental rights and protect his children from the 2015 radical sex curriculum. It's also called "inclusive education" and implemented in Ontario schools, both Catholic and public. If the 2016 court decision against him is allowed to stand, Tourloukis argues that it marks the death of religious freedom for Christian children enrolled in public schools.

In many places January is Respect Life month. There will be a number of celebrations in the United States to remind us that the present culture of death will not have the final say. For all life is sacred and every person has dignity that comes from God.

Today protesters across America and around the world are marching to raise awareness of "women's rights" and the fear Donald Trump's presidency. Sadly, they are promoting the abortion myth.

In 2017, there are a number of anniversaries that we are celebrating. One is that Canada will be 150 years old.  It's also 100 years since the apparitions at Fatima. But an important, and probably little known, anniversary for the Catholic Church is the consecration of the Dominion of Canada to Mary, the Mother of God. This event took place in Ottawa on June 22, 1947. This year marks the 70th anniversary.

The consecration took place on the last day of the Marian Congress.

Today the United States celebrates a national holiday to remember Martin Luther King Jr. He fought  racism through nonviolence. Standing firm against racial discrimination and segregation, King lead marches and sit-ins. He was even arrested at one point and spent time in jail. From prison, he wrote the well known "Letter from Birmingham City Jail," on April 16, 1963.

Canadian provincial governments have for years been pushing equity and inclusive education in schools and society. To help achieve the goal, students and citizens need to learn a new vocabulary about human sexuality. To do this, students are taught a "progressive" curriculum about who they are, family and marriage. This is to get students, teachers and parents to accept the new language and eventually it will lead to "inclusive and diversity" thinking and then behaving.

This past week we posted our 1,000th entry. I had no idea that we would get to this point when  I started. We wish to thank our readers and God for making this small evangelization project possible.

It all began back in 2009 while praying in front of an abortion clinic in Toronto. It was during a 40 Days for Life prayer vigil.

Have you heard of The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD)? Probably not. Based on Ontario's 2015 Health and Physical Education document which includes the radical sex curriculum, the CCGSD can be considered a school "community partner." It's a Trojan Horse. So, parents should know this organization because the government has given them permission to partner with schools and offer children programs about human sexuality and family life. More about this later.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
