Bishop Ronald P. Fabbro, CSB, the President of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario has released a statement about the repeal of Health and Physical Education program for Grades 1-8. This is the document that contains the radical sex-curriculum implemented by the Wynne Liberal government in schools in 2015. We find the response inadequate and weak. It's not going to encourage parents who have opposed the controversial and anti-Christian curriculum from the start. It's the "I'm all right Jack" kind of answer.

On June 7th, Ontarians elected a majority Conservative government and as promised Premier Doug Ford has repealed the radical sex-curriculum implemented by the Wynne Liberals in 2015. Ford has kept his promise to withdraw the controversial curriculum. It's regrettable that Minister of Education Lisa Thompson made confusing remarks about the curriculum repeal.

In this post-modern period, the Catholic Church in Canada has hailed to defend Christian parents and family life. Instead of boldly standing firm for the faith, with some exceptions, the bishops of Canada have gone silent. We believe it began when the chose not to defend Pope Pual VI's encyclical Humanae Vitae in 1968. The faithful were told to follow their consciences about the use of contraception, and not always Church teaching.

Ontarians recently elected a Conservative government that promised to repeal the radical sex-curriculum implemented by the Wynne Liberals in 2015. However, there has been much confusion since the new government took office as to how this will be accomplished.

Just about a year before the horrors of World War II ended, Pope Pius XII at the Vatican, addressed a group of members from the United States Congress. This was on December 15, 1944. His pontificate went from 1939 to 1958. The speech is short but the words are wise and prophetic. For two generations now, Western countries thank God, have had relative peace. However, we have sadly managed to legislate the Christian faith into retreat.

Premier Doug Ford and Minister Lisa Thompson we urge to pay no attention to the criticism about withdrawing the explicit and child abusive sex-curriculum. Ontario's newly elected Conservative party has done the right thing by keeping its promise to scrap the controversial and inappropriate sex-curriculum. Even before the announcement to repeal the curriculum was made, there were those who opposed the idea. That's politics.

The Canadian Jesuit priest, Fr. Tony Van Hee, has been a strong witness to life on Parliament Him, the seat of Canada's government for 30 years. He has prayed and fasted in an effort to bring an end to abortion. Just recently he issued a challenge and a reminder to his Jesuit order that they have been silent about "the worldwide genocide of the preborn.”

Last February, the 83 year old priest wrote a letter to his superior general Fr.

Ontario's newly elected Doug Ford Conservative government has kept its promise to repeal the radical sex curriculum implemented by the former Liberal government in 2015. The announcement was made today. This is a great day for education in Ontario. Finally, some good news coming from the Ministry of Education for children attending public and separate schools in the province.

Not that we need more proof, but recently there is more evidence that shows that Justin Trudeau has got to be one of the worst Canadian prime ministers. His father a close second. Trudeau's response just days ago to a reporter questioning him about the past groping incident from 2000, reveals a man who is deceptive, hypocritical and self-righteous. The woman that Trudeau groped was a young reporter named Rose Knight.

Yesterday, we attended the 50th jubilee celebration of the priestly ordination of Franciscan priest Fr. Amedeo Nardone, Order of the Friars Minor, here in the Archdiocese of Toronto. The Mass of Thanksgiving was held at St. Jane Frances where Fr. Amedeo has been pastor for the last fifteen years. After the Eucharistic service, a reception was held later in the day at Da Vinci Banquet Hall.

Too often what gets reported in the media are negative stories about religion and the priesthood.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
