Greta Thunberg: child exploitation in the name of climate change

By now everybody has heard of the 16 year-old climate change activist Greta Thunberg. She recently got to New York City after a 15-day yacht journey across the Atlantic. The MSM are all cheer leading for this teenager who will talk at the UN Climate Action Summit in September.

The hype is all about her coming to America on a zero-emissions sailboat that uses solar power. The boat called the Malizia II left Plymouth, UK and sailed across the ocean to New York City. Thunberg covered the whole journey on social media.

Thunberg originates from Sweden. She became well known both at home and internationally for leading a student strike on climate change that spread to many cities around the globe. She likes to tell people that she refuses to fly to reduce her carbon footprint.

Why we should care about the people's protest in Hong Kong

We should all care about what's happening in Hong Kong. We should pray for a peaceful resolution so that ordinary citizens can live in freedom, rule of law and justice. The people's protest for democracy taking place between Hong Kong and the Chinese Communist government has international consequences. We have a dictatorial government that is anti-Christian and wants to control people through fear and intimidation.

Ontario's revised 2019 elementary sex-curriculum continues to present dangers to children

The Doug Ford government has finally released a revised 2019 Health and Physical Education program for Ontario elementary schools. It should be implemented for the school year 2019-2020. The changes to the 2015 Wynne Liberal radical sex-curriculum continues to pose dangers to children. However, one positive change is that parents now have been given the option to withdraw their children from any component of the curriculum.

Canada's government pushes to make "conversion treatment" a crime

The majority of Canada's politicians have promoted homosexuality for decades. Canadians for the most part are caring and have become tolerant of same-sex attractions. However, in a politically correct climate mere acceptance is not enough. Legislation has now been introduced in the House of Commons, Bill S-260, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (conversion therapy), that will make it illegal to provide "conversion therapy" to those who want it.

PM Justin Trudeau has broken the law: he should now resign

In the Corriere Canadese editorial by Giorgio Mitolo titled, "SNC-Lavalin, un’ombra sulla campagna di Trudeau" ("SNC-Lavalin, a shadow on Trudeau's election campaign") the author asks at the end, "What do Canadians think?"

Here's my response. Most Canadians don't know that Justin Trudeau has broken the law many times. Why don't they know? The answer is political: the Trudeau Liberal government has put aside a slush fund amounting to close $600,000,000 for the mainstream media.

Road to Valor: a life of faith and heroic athleticism

Just days ago, I finished reading the inspiring true story of the Italian cyclist Gino Bartali. He won the Tour de France at the age of 24, and incredibly did it a second time in 1948 when he was 34 years old, after the end of World War II. At the advanced age of 34, many thought that Bartoli was too old to win the race. But he did just that. Moreover, he had won the Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy) two times, in 1936, 1937 and also in 1946.

Our Lady of Fatima comes to Radio Maria Canada

Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrim Statue was at Radio Maria Canada today. Those present had time for private prayer, group recitation of the Rosary and celebration of the Holy Mass. The celebrant was Fr. Charles Michael Grech, director of Radio Maria.

The visit was one of the stops during this Toronto, Canada tour for the month of August 2019. It was an event filled with graces, friendship and blessings.

Pastor David Lynn: justice delayed, justice denied

(Note: we said that we would not post anything during August, but we decided to make an exception. It's about the legal case that continues against pastor David Lynn. The injustice needs to be exposed.)

Readers may recall our post about Pastor David Lynn being arrested and charged with "disturbing the peace" for preaching on a city sidewalk on Church Street. He was merely sharing the Gospel message of love. Yesterday, Lynn appeared at the College Park Courthouse in Toronto for the second time.
