The School Advocacy website provides practical information about Ontario’s public education that many parents may want to know about. We post some of that information for our readers. It helps explain the way public education is administered and the law and policy which govern it. We hope the entry helps parents get involved with the education of their children. We thank the School Advocacy for their work:

Education Law and Policy The Constitution Act of Canada gives the Ontario government, and other Provinces, the power to decide how public schools in Ontario will be run and funded. In this section, we provide an overview of the law governing the public education system in Ontario.

Rebel News reporter Keean Bexte has just posted on YouTube an revealing documentary about Greta Thunberg. Bexte asks the questions the MSM refuse to ask: 1) Is Greta actually on a school strike? 2) Are the adults managing her campaign just a huge, corporate PR firm? 3) What is the real connection between Greta and Igmar Rentzhog? Bexte writes:

Greta Thunberg’s meteoric rise to fame did not happen by accident.

An important message was sent before Christmas to elementary teachers with the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) by Superintendent Michael Caccamo. In it, he clearly states that parents have the option to withdraw their children from the revised 2019 Human Development and Sexual Health curriculum. In Catholic schools the content is embedded in the religious program called Fully Alive.

Here's part of what Mr.

An informative article in First Things by Jennifer Bilek titled, "The Billionaires Behind the LGBT Movement" helps to explain how gay, lesbian and transgender issues have infiltrated every aspect of Western culture and societal institution. As with everything else, Bilek follows the money. What we find is that the LGBT movement is well organized and extremely well funded.

Here's the address given by President Donald Trump at the 47th Annual March for Life. He's the first American president to speak in person at the March for Life. Thank you President Trump for standing for life. Without the right to life, there are no other rights. Readers may wish to go directly to the video of the speech that comes at the end of the transcript:

THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much and thank you, Jeanne.

It's close to one hundred years since the poem by W. B. Yeats titled, "The Second Coming" was published. In this post, we re-visit the poem's apocalyptic message. Yeats writes about the horror, death. suffering and destruction caused in Europe by World War I. "The Second Coming" is about "things fall apart" and the "rough beast" headed "towards Bethlehem to be born." The poem's theme of chaos, loss of innocence, and conviction is just as relevant now as it was when Yeats wrote those words.

On June 25, 1986, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith wrote a castigating Letter to Fr. Charles Curran. He was a dissenting Catholic American theology professor. The controversy began when Curran supported by others wrote a critical response titled, Faithful Dissent, to Humanae Vitae. The document was Pope Paul VI's encyclical on procreation and marriage that forbids artificial contraception.

You would think that with all the educational efforts over the last fifteen years that the major problems students are confronting today is bullying, sexting, social media and the lack of equity and inclusion.

This is now recent Ontario history but worth revisiting. There is much evidence that parents in Canada are losing the right to direct their children's education. The Christian father Dr. Steve Tourloukis from Hamilton who fought for his parental rights for six years in court is a prime example. He legally fought not just by the school board but also by the province of Ontario and the elementary teachers' union.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
