As schools re-open, parents must be vigilant and involved

Schools are set to re-open in a week. Normally this is a good thing, but with the lock-downs, social distancing, masks and vaccine mandates, everything has changed, and not for the better. And you can forget the elitist lie: "We're in this together." No, we're not, as those with power and money are trying to divide the citizenry. Parents are naturally concerned for their children's learning and safety.

Parents have good reason to worry with all the indoctrination in schools about human sexuality, critical race theory and social justice. It's sad to say that parents cannot trust the government or school boards to do what is in the best interest of children's learning, health and safety. The teacher unions abandoned the children long ago.

National Citizens Coalition: Re-elect "Anyone but Trudeau" campaign

The National Citizens Coalition has started a campaign to tell Canadians to elect, "Anyone but Trudeau." We agree. On September 20, 2021, Trudeau and the Liberals must be voted out of office. They have done too much harm to the nation and don't deserve another term, especially given the fact that it will over $600 million tax dollars for an election we didn't need. Canadians are forced to go to the polls because Trudeau wants a majority. His ego needs it.

We're not in the business of telling our Canadian readers who to vote for in this federal election or any other election. However, the nation is an unprecedented social, economic and moral crisis. So, we do have the responsibility to tell the faithful not to vote Liberal because their policies make no room for Catholic teaching. Defend your health and civil rights, as well as the freedom to choose or refuse any medical treatment.

Canada is now being forced to have another federal election. It's an unnecessary election, but this is what privileged PM Justin Trudeau wants, and so it's what he does. It's Canadian tax payers that will pay $610 million so that Trudeau can push for his majority. That Canadians are trying to deal with the hardships, health and fear of the pandemic is of little or no concern to Trudeau. The 2021 campaign will last the minimum number of days, which is 36.

The Catholic Medical Association is against vaccine mandates unless people are given the right to opt out for religious and conscience reasons. This is the much needed medical and moral leadership the faithful aren't getting from their local dioceses, parishes or the Vatican for that matter, in this time of crisis, fear and confusion. The Association's motto is appropriately: Upholding the Principles of the Catholic Faith in the Science and Practice of Medicine.

Trudeau: Canada needs to recover from a “she-cession”, really?

The federal election has begun, and so too has the campaigning, and the fake promises. Canada's PM is so woke that he's talking about Canada needing a “she-covery” after the “she-cession.” This language is insulting to Canadians who are trying to recover and deal with an on-going pandemic. Trudeau did the same thing last March claiming there was a need for a “feminist, intersectional recovery” from the virus, really? He probably doesn't even know what the expression means.
