Is there no shame? The CCCB wants to raise $30 million

In 2013, the American fundraising organization Community Counselling Service (CCS) from Brooklyn was hired by the Archdiocese of Toronto to run their Family of Faith Campaign. By 2016, more than $164 million was collected or pledged. The final total exceeded the goal by 156%. The summary report was called, "The Catholic community of Toronto successfully completes the most ambitious faith-based campaign in Canadian history." More accurately it should have been titled, the "most ambitious fundraising campaign," since little or nothing has been accomplished from the diocesan pastoral plan.

Is this the final Covid variant booster?

Is communism the final Covid variant booster, and why the CCP has not been made accountable in any way for the "pandemic" that has spread to the entire world? Exaggeration you say? Just think that we have gone from "two weeks to flatten the curve" to vaccine passports and mandates. And with it comes the societal segregation of the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. This would not be possible in any nation that truly supports freedom and democracy.

Why is Cardinal Collins doing what he has no moral or legal authority to do?

Cardinal Thomas Collins in his recent letter to clergy and staff of the Archdiocese of Toronto makes his position clear on the question of Covid-19 vaccination: "I urge those that have not been fully vaccinated to do so as soon as possible." He adds, "We must get beyond this pandemic, which has directly and indirectly caused such misery for so many, and has impeded our life as a Christian community.

Cardinal Collins' letter to clergy does the work of Caesar

Today, Cardinal Thomas Collins of the Archdiocese of Toronto issued a letter to all staff and clergy that does the work of Caesar. It pushes the government position on Covid-19 vaccines, not that that of a true shepherd. We have bolded the key sentence of the message: "I urge those that have not been fully vaccinated to do so as soon as possible." That's all one needs to know. Everything else is largely filler.

Remember the fairy tale titled, The Sky is Falling Down? A chick named Chicken Little mistakenly believes the sky is falling down because an acorn falls on its head. The chick decides to inform the king about the calamity. While travelling to see the king the chick meets many other animals. In one version, before the chick gets to the king, the animals meet a fox that tricks them to its lair and eats them all. Only Cocky Lucky survives to warn the chick.

Canada's 2021 federal election: 1 billion dollars wasted to go back to square one

We have spent closed to a billion dollars of tax payer money for an unneeded 2021 federal election, only to sadly return to where we started. The Liberals had a minority government before the election and that's what they have after the votes have been mostly counted. Essentially nothing in the political landscape has changed.

TCDSC subverts parental rights and violates their own by-law

Last Thursday, the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) held their meeting, and made two decisions that should worry parents and teachers.

First, the board lawyer Paul Matthews instructed the trustees that the oath to the Magesterium taken by trustees isn't in the Education Act. The observation while not inaccurate did suggest that the oath to Church teaching is an optional exercise which could be deleted.

However, Matthews didn't tell the whole truth.

Anti-black racism course in 51 Ontario Catholic and public schools: it will do more harm than good

Ontario separate and public Catholic boards are simply accepting the idea that there is a need to fight anti-black racism in our schools. Question the myth and one is presumed guilty. Students will be taught that Canada is a racist nation. The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) piloted the course in three of their high schools, and currently the program is in 51 high schools, in five different schools boards across the province.

Starting this October, all Vatican visitors must have a Covid Green Pass.

Journalist Bree Dail has reported that the Vatican has just issued a decree that starting October 1, 2021, all visitors must have a Covid Digital Certificate. Here's the posted information:

Expect dioceses around the world to follow. The Archdiocese of Moncton in Canada has already done so. No proof of vaccination, no Mass or the sacraments.

Exorcist prayer against evil

The following prayer to combat evil (especially needed during this "pandemic") was composed by Fr. Gabriele Amorth who was the Chief Exorcist of Rome, Italy. He died in 2016 and is the author of several books. Whatever your views about the pandemic, this is certain: there has been too much mistrust and fear sown. Religious liberty has been restricted, civil rights violated and democracy being put to the test. The Church has sided with Caesar and the temporal world.
