One journalist in Canada had the courage to address the protesting truckers

While Canada's MSM, and the state broadcaster, the CBC, have decided to take the government's side regarding the Freedom Convoy. Ezra Levant from Rebel News did have the courage to address and offer a media lesson to the crowd on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa. The truckers are protesting vaccine mandates and other harsh Covid-19 restrictions which have violated Canadian freedoms and civil rights. Rebel News has sent ten reporters to cover the event.

Levant criticized the MSM for not accurately reporting on the Freedom Convoy and for failing to cover the large gathering in Ottawa. “It's great to be here, and on behalf of Rebel News, I salute you,” he said to those present. He told them to film and document what was taking place because there is a need for true independent citizen journalists.

Canada's government and institutions have exploited the pandemic for their ends

There is talk in Canada (and surely in other countries too) about getting back some level of normalcy from the "pandemic." It has been used to drastically alter the social, medical and economic fabric of the nation. Will these experimental injection mandates, social distancing and wearing of masks ever go away? St. Charles Borromeo ministering to the sick during the plague

In 1576, the Bubonic Plague spread through Milan. The city had a population of 120,000. Those who were rich or well connected could leave, but the poor were left to suffer the ill effects of the deadly infection. However, St. Charles Borromeo, Archbishop of Milan, did not abandon the people. He did what could be done to bring medical help to the sick and organize ways to feed those in need.

St. Charles was concerned about both the physical and spiritual needs of the people.

Canadian Trucking Alliance issues a cowardly statement

The Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), a national federation of provincial trucking associations released a statement to condemn the Freedom Convoy travelling across the country to Ottawa's Parliament Hill to protest vaccine mandates. The CTA is essentially the truckers' union and it's refusing to support the initiative to push back against government tyranny. What a betrayal. Sadly, this is what most unions have done in Canada.

"Defeat the Mandates" rally in Washington: a sign of hope for freedom and truth

There were thousands of people who gathered at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., on the weekend, to stand for freedom from experimental injection mandates. Well known speakers were there to offer messages of hope and encouragement. The rally was appropriately called, "Defeat the Mandates." The main theme was that truth and liberty will win out in the end. Presenters included Robert F. Kennedy, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Paul Marik, Del Bigtree and Dr. Pierre Kory.
