St. Monica Institute workshop for Catholic trustees failed totally to address the important issues

The executive director, Brendan Steven, of Catholic Conscience has asked for feedback about the trustee workshop held this past Satuday by the St. Monica Institute. How many Catholic parents even know that Catholic Conscience and the St. Monica Institute exist, and that this workshop was even held? Why didn't school boards and the Ontario Catholic School Trustees' Association seriously promote it?

Canada today isn't the Canada of yesterday

My parents immigrated to Canada in the early fifties. Like a lot of other immigrates, they came from Italy looking for a better future for their family. My parents wanted to work and provide for their children. There was always the idea that when things got better, they would one day return to their homeland. But in time as the family planted its roots in Canada, the new homeland became Canada. My father never went back to Italy.

Justin Trudeau's Canada isn't our Canada

Justin Trudeau's Canada isn't our Canada. Presently, there are over 7,000,000 Canadians who can't fly, board a train or travel by bus outside the country because of government restrictions. Canadians who disagree with the Trudeau Liberal government are called names and considered a "fringe minority" who hold "unacceptable views."

Much of the country was shut down because of Covid-19 restrictions. Civil rights have been violated.

The Vatican's pandemic complicity

In the last two years, the pandemic has brought citizens of the world a disturbing new reality of lock-downs, masking, social distancing, violations of civil rights, attacks on religious freedom, mandated Covid-19 vaccine, passports and breach of personal data privacy. This has become the new normal.

All of it would not have been possible without the Vatican fully cooperating with the World Health Organization, the World Economic Forum and governments around the globe.

After his re-election, PM Orbán talks about the importance of God, family and Europe's Christian roots

Here's a very thoughtful and stirring speech given in Budapest by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán after taking his prime ministerial oath, on My 16, 2022. The people of Hungary re-elected him. Most Western leaders today can't even imagine delivering such a great talk for the occasion, let alone writing and believing any of its content. Canada's PM Justin Trudeau and President Joe Biden would have difficulty reading such a speech even from a teleprompter.

Pandemic mythmaking

In an article titled, "Covid Update: What is the truth?" published in Surgical Neurology International, author Russell L. Blaylock offers a very disturbing summary of what has happened with the pandemic. We should all be concerned. Blaylock is an American retired neurosurgeon who worked on theoretical neuroscience research.

Together, public health officials, governments, media and medical organizations have done a great job at spreading fake Covid-19 information.

The problem with the message by the TCDSB equity and diversity department to all schools: it's not Catholic

This is the message sent today to all board schools by the Toronto Catholic District School Board from its Equity, Diversity, Indigenous Education and Community Relations department. It states:

Every parish in the Archdiocese of Toronto, all 226 of them, should issue a similar statement to parents like the one we post below from a parish priest. The diocese covers six Catholic boards which are facing the same issue.

The "Gang of Four" TCDSB trustees who don't deserve another term

We have now posted four articles about Toronto Catholic District School Board trustees who should not be re-elected in the upcoming Municipal Elections, on October 24. The trustees are: Norm Di Pasquale Ward 9, Markus de Domenico Ward 2, Maria Rizzo Ward 5, and Ida Li Preti Ward 3.

In 2020, Joe Volpe the editor of Corriere Canadese wrote an article titled, "Change in the TCDSB starts with an examination of conscience." It best explains why the "Gang of Four" don't deserve another term.

TCDSB Ward 9 trustee Norm Di Pasquale should not be re-lected

Toronto Catholic District School Board Ward 9 trustee Norm Di Pasquale ran as a candidate, in the Spadina Fort York riding, for the New Democratic Party in the last federal election. He didn't resign. He kept his position of trustee even though the case can be made that he was in a serious conflict of interest. The New Democratic Party policies totally oppose Catholic morals and doctrine. No doubt, Di Pasquale doesn't see anything wrong with it.
