On the subject of moral conscience the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that "Deep within his conscience man discovers a law which he has not laid upon himself but which he must obey. Its voice, ever calling him to love and to do what is good and to avoid evil, sounds in his heart at the right moment. . . . For man has in his heart a law inscribed by God. . . . His conscience is man's most secret core and his sanctuary. There he is alone with God whose voice echoes in his depths." (1776)

At the Archdiocese of Toronto, one priest decided to do a video about him getting the shot. This was no doubt to set an example so that his parishioners would do the same.

When it comes to euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide Canada is now at the top. A recent article in Spiked called, "How Canada became a world leader in euthanasia" shows that Canada is a leading nation when it comes to providing euthanasia services for its citizenry. Yes, we're number one in promoting death. What a shame.

Only six 6 years ago, Canada made physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia legal for those suffering from an incurable illness.

The Catholic Civil Rights League reports that the "Crown drops charges against Fr. Anthony Van Hee S. J. under the Safe Access to Abortion Services Act." This is welcome news for life and freedom of expression in Canada. It's must never be a crime to witness against abortion. It's any law that tries to prevent expression against the killing of the unborn that is evil. Fr. Tony Van Hee should have never been charged. He did nothing wrong. Life is the only choice.

A recent article by Stafano Fontana in the Daily Compass titled, "Now also L’Osservatore Romano embraces the gay and secularized Church," reports that there is an aggressive secularism presently being embraced by Church leaders. Fontana writes about a recent interview with Cardinal Hollerich, president of the European of the European bishops done by the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano.

While in Canadians schools chidren are being taught about gender ideology, critical race theory and comprehensive sex-education, too many children in the world go without a proper meal each day. In the first world, we waste our school resources while sadly children around the globe, and even in Canada, go without basic human needs.

Parents must get the facts before allowing their child to take cross-sex hormones and undergo surgery. When children are confused about who they are, the answer isn't life changing medical treatment. To even consider changing a child's gender (sex cannot be changed) is a very serious matter. "The myth about suicide and gender dysphoric children" is a resource that helps parents get the information they need. Gender-dysphoria is primarily a psychological condition.

A recent court decision ruled that students attending a separate school who are not Catholic can still be chosen as students trustees. The verdict makes no sense, but since our courts have become unfriendly to Christians this is what we get. It's a terrible verdict.

The judgment is against the York Catholic District School Board. The student who launched the legal case is Dasha Kandaharian. She presently attends York University.

No surprise that the CBC, during the Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia Municipal Elections of 2022, would publish another hit piece on those who hold conservative and/or Christian views. The article is called, "Scores of anti-trans candidates running in Ontario school board elections."

The author uses the Canadian Anti-Hate Network to support the argument claiming that the Network has identified two candidates in Manitoba with anti-lgbtq views.

There was a much welcomed development in Alberta today. The Premier Danielle Smith was asked by Rebel News reporter Selene Galas, if  she was prepared to apologize to the unvaccinated as she had promised. Smith's response surprisingly was to apologize immediately.

This is huge news not just for Alberta and Canada but also for the rest of the world.

Ontario spent some 32 billion tax dollars on public education last year. Parents are told this level of financial commitment is needed to make sure students are getting the best education possible. But the latest math and literacy student test scores prove just the opposite.

The Education Quality and Accountability Office released the results today for the year 2021-2022. Each school board will get the data for their schools at a later date.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
