Canadian employers must now provide tampons in men's washrooms in all federal buildings

Just when one thinks things cannot get worse, Canada's woke Liberal party led by PM Justin Trudeau goes lower. First it was in military buildings, now the government is forcing all federally controlled employers to make tampons available in both male and female washrooms. The trans employees that amount to fewer than a fraction of one percent of the population must be accommodated. Canada's Labour Code necessitates that employees have access to "free" menstrual products at work as of December 15, 2023:

This initiative is inclusive of all workers who menstruate, and it will improve the well-being of nearly half a million workers who may require menstrual products during their workdays, including cisgender women, non-binary individuals, transgender men, and intersex individuals.

Ontario Catholic board upholds expulsion of student for defending what the Bible teaches

Seventeen year-old Josh Alexander is forbidden to return to his studies at St. Joseph’s High School in Pembroke, Ontario.

His expulsion, which essentially denies him an education, now seems to be indefinite. At least, this is what the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) had ruled. The decision was made by three Board trustees who rejected the student's appeal to return to school. Josh has not been allowed to attend school since November of 2022.

The Liberal Canadian government has published a report called, "Honouring the Children Who Never Came Home: Truth, Education and Reconciliation." We are told it’s the "important and sacred work" of the Standing Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR).

Critical Race Theory has now replaced Religion in Ontario Catholic schools

The Toronto Catholic District School Board like the other separate school boards across Ontario have made anti-racism and equity education their new "religion." Take a look at how the Board describes their mission to address "local systemic-racism," and promote equity and exclusivity:

Anti-racism is the 'active process of identifying and eliminating racism by changing systems, organizational structures, policies and practices and attitudes, so that power is redistributed and shared equitably.

Merry Christmas!

The "Huron Carol" ("Twas in the Moon of Wintertime") is the oldest Christmas hymn written by the Canadian Jesuit martyr Jean the Brebeuf, in1642. Brebeuf was a missionary at St. Marie among the Hurons in Canada. It was originally written in the native language of the Huron/Wendat people with the title, Jesous Ahatonhia (Jesus, he is born.)

Even with all the political correctness, thank God the beautiful hymn is still played and sung in many Christian and Catholic churches to this day.

The birthplace of Jesus, the Saviour, is identified in Bethlehem, where the Basilica of the Nativity stands today. To take part in the census announced by the Romans, Joseph and Mary went from the city of Nazareth in Galilee to the small town of Bethlehem in Judaea, as Joseph belonged to the family of David.

The misguided Toronto City council's decision to rename Dundas Square

Toronto's city council has made the stupid and tax payer wasteful decision to change the name of Dundas Square. It will cost at least 3 million dollars, when the city is already in debt. Of course, by then, the figure will surely be much higher. But that doesn’t faze the city councillors. The important thing is to make woke decisions and to virtue signal.

Why the change in name? Because the name Dundas was taken from the 18 century Scottish politician Henry Dundas.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops have already publicly made a statement regarding the latest papal Declaration "Fiducia supplicans" (supplicating trust?) about the meaning of blessings. The reaction to the blessing of same-sex unions already shows the confusion within the Church.
