Today, a You Tube recording was posted about the work of the 2slgbtq+ Advisory Committee at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. They want to change what is taught in the Religion program, from Grades1-8, about the person, family and marriage. What they are doing is bound to spread to all separate boards across the province.

The script accompanying the video states:

The 2SLGBTQ+ Advisory Committee of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) had a public meeting on January 24, 2023. Members were discussing whether the TCDSB should continue to use the Fully Alive textbook in its schools. The TCDSB's Human Rights and Equity Advisor, Lavinia Latham, spoke on the issue.

As we approach Lent for 2023, we re-post this 2019 entry which has been one of our most read. It's comforting to know that the Truth is good news that stays good news. Here's the entry.

Reading The Crucifixion of Jesus: A Forensic Inquiry by Dr. Frederick Zugibe is truly an incredible factual and spiritual experience. The author was chief medical examiner and forensic pathologist for 35 years in Rockland, Pomona, NY.

Where has the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario gone? At a time when we need the shepherds to speak up, they are missing in action. They are silent. There are absent from the public square.

Just over a week ago, publisher Pearson Canada was pressured to stop printing the books used for the Religious Education program, called Fully Alive, for Grades 1-8 in Ontario's Catholic schools. The series of texts cover from a Catholic view such topics as marriage, family and human sexuality.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper published an interesting book in 2018 called, Right Here, Right Now. The book's subtitle reveals the theme: it's about politics and leadership in a time of disruption. That was five years ago before we had Covid-19 lock-downs, vaccine passports and the invoking of martial law on truckers who protested peacefully in Ottawa against forced vaccination. They merely wanted to keep their jobs and protect their medical freedom to choose.

If Catholic parents who pay taxes to support separate schools had any doubts that secularism has almost eroded their Catholic identity, we got more evidence this week from the Toronto Catholic District School Board. The anti-Catholic work was done by a board committee: the TCDSB's 2slgbtq+ Advisory Committee.

Here’s what the Committee wants director Brendan Browne and the board of trustees to do.

Want to know how much Ontario school boards respect parental rights? Read the recent Open Letter by the Waterloo Region District School Board to concerned parents. In short, not much. Parental concerns which question the validity of what boards are doing may be called, "Hate, racism and xenophobia" and "not 'opinions' that should be gathered through consultation."

The board defends the need to collect sexual information about students. Just accept it.

We don't think that teachers, parents and students who attend or work at any school run by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, OCDSB, have any clue that the administrative buildings are sitting on "unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg Nation." But then, isn't all of Canada Indigenous territory? According to the Board statement, "Canada’s Constitution, unceded territory means the Aboriginal Title to the area has not been surrendered by an Indigenous nation or a

Dr. Chris Shoemaker has strongly spoken out against the covid-19 vaccine, and for speaking his mind and telling the truth, he has lost his medical license. This is the worst punishment that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) could impose. The college has weaponized the Health Professions Act and decided that Dr. Shoemaker's conduct can be harmful and dangerous to the profession and patients. When did truth and doing science become dangerous to patient health?

Dr.

This is first part of a long statement made by Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla on testing positive for Covisd-19, on August 15, 2022:

I would like to inform the public that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am grateful to have received four doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and I am feeling well while experiencing very mild symptoms.

The American Catholic Diocese of Des Moines has issued a clear policy on gender identity: students in schools and parishioners are to use locker and washrooms based on their biological sex. There is no use of preferred pronouns. The policy is consistent with Catholic teaching. It's the kind of policy that every Catholic parish and school ought to follow. Gender and gender identity aren't Catholic teaching. The first amendment is alive and well in the Diocese of De Moines.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
