Our Lady of Fatima known as Our Lady of the Holy Rosary refers to the Marian apparitions to the three shepherd children in 1917, in Fatima, Portugal. The children were Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto. Bishop Jose Alves Correia da Silva officially approved the events on October 13, 1930. About the Message of Fatima Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who became Pope Benedict XVI said of the apparitions:

... Those who expected exciting apocalyptic revelations about the end of the world or the future course of history are bound to be disappointed. Fatima does not satisfy our curiosity in this way, just as Christian faith in general cannot be reduced to an object of mere curiosity.

This is our message to Ontario Catholic teachers for the new school year 2023-23: don’t be afraid to put Catholic back in Catholic education. Don’t look for leadership from the teacher unions, the administrators, your College of Teachers governing body and even elected trustees. Just do it yourself. War is hell on every side

War is hell. There is no moral high ground. What we need is peace. Take a look at the very disheartening photos of the severely damaged Transfiguration Cathedral of the Moscow Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cathedral is Odessa's largest Orthodox church and consecrated in 1809. If this is what happens to sacred structures, one can easily imagine what happens to troops, to families, to children and innocent people caught in the middle of that hell.

American bishop issues clear school policy on Catholic education and human sexuality: teach the faith

Diocese of Worcester Bishop Robert McManus has recently approved a new school policy on Catholic education in his diocese. The Catholic guideline covers such controversial topics as sexual identity, chastity, transgenderism and same-sex attractions. Bottom line: Going to a Catholic school should mean that students are taught the full faith and that teachers, administrators and students aim to live it. It's the reason parents choose a Catholic education for their children.

Six months ago, Toronto Catholic District School Board teacher Paolo De Buono gave woke and anti-Catholic marching orders to the in-coming Archbishop of Toronto Francis Leo. Surely this is a complete scandal. The fact that there has been no response from Archbishop Leo, the director of education Brendan Browne, nor anyone else in a supervisory capacity at the school board, only serves to make the scandal worse.
