From the You Tube posting of King Charles’ Christmas speech. Is it a declaration of civil war against the citizenry?

King Charles, Christmas speech, civil war, government response, Christianity, diversity, relativism, monarchy, social unrest, discernment. Summary: In this conversation, Gavin Ashenden discusses the implications of King Charles's Christmas speech, suggesting it marks a significant shift in the monarchy's relationship with the people. He argues that the King's speech reflects a siding with the state against the populace amidst rising civil unrest and government oppression. Ashenden critiques the King's theological missteps and the relativistic portrayal of faith, emphasizing the need for discernment in these turbulent times.

Prayer In Adoration Of The Blessed Sacrament

I adore You, Bread from Heaven. I adore You, Bread of Angels. I adore You, My Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.

(Pause for silent adoration.)

I adore You, Jesus, my true life because You died for love of me. I adore You, Jesus, Divine Light because You show me the way to heaven. I adore You, Jesus, Divine Lamb, Who takes away the sin of the world.

Thirty years have already passed since Pope John Paul II's Gratissimam Sane (Letter to Families, 1994) was released. It was intended to be a guide for the celebration of the Year of the Family. The family today is confronted with even more evils.

We don't think the pope could have imagined that public schools would be teaching the insane and anti-Catholic idea that a boy can become a girl and a girl can become a boy. We have abandoned truth and medical sanity.

Today we celebrate the feast of the Holy Innocents and Martyrs. King Herod got the news from the Magi that a new king of the Jews had been born. This "greatly troubled" the king because he got it all wrong. He thought the Child Jesus threatened his hold on power. And since the Magi would not tell the king the location of the new born Child, Herod was furious. He ordered all male children two years and younger to be murdered in the vicinity of Bethlehem.

In 1902, British novelist and poet Thomas Hardy published a poem called, "The Man He Killed." The poem makes no allusion to a specific war but probably refers to the Boer war in South Africa of 1899 to 1902. As with any war, many lives were lost and many more of those who fought were wounded. Hardy had no idea of the coming World War I and the countless others wars we have had in between and since World War II.

It's a simple but powerful poem.

Since 2020, and known as "Billboard Chris," this ordinary Canadian dad has become a one man warrior, both at home and internationally, against children transgendering: the insane idea that a boy can become a girl and a girl can become a boy. The father's name is Chris Elston who has two girls of his own. He says he's raising awareness to bring an end to this evil which amounts to a crime against children.

The idea that a child is born in the wrong body is a lie.

A truly unique sculpted Christmas Creche was mainly constructed by the woodcarver Josef Probošt of Třebechovice. The impressive mechanical masterpiece in Třebechovice pod Orebem, the Czech Republic, has been displayed around world and continues to inspire both people living in the town and tourists who travel to see it from all parts of the globe. The scene consists of more than 2,000 carved pieces and took three generations of woodcarvers to complete.

Today and for Christmas Day, we post Pope Benedict's XVI' 2012 Christmas message. We wish our readers a blessed and holy Christmas. May the Child Jesus bring to all people of goodwill a renewed sense of hope, peace and truth. Let's us rejoice and celebrate the coming of the Saviour of a fallen world. Happy birthday Baby Jesus! O come, O come, Emmanuel!

'Veritas de terra orta est!' – 'Truth has sprung out of the earth' (Ps 85:12).

This post about Our Lady of Las Lajas (In Spanish: Nuestra Señora de Las Lajas Virgin), in Colombia, was originally published by EWTN. The story is of an image of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus imprinted on rocks that has baffled scientists and inspired believers for close to 300 years. We must admit we had not heard about the apparition, miracle, image and the construction of a basilica at the site. But there is so much we don’t know. Read about it and decide for yourself.

We post a meditation of the day for Advent from the Magnificat. It's written by Pope Benedict XVI and titled, "Seeing the Salvation of God."

Advent is not only a time of waiting for eternity—it is also in a very special sense a time of inner joy that cannot be driven out by suffering. This can perhaps be understood best if we look closely at the inner content and meaning of our Advent practices…. The people of God have, as it were, translated Scripture into a visible form.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
