Sixty-one years ago, now part of the Congressional Record, Democratic Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr., from Florida, read a summary of the 45 Communist Goals. The aim of Communism is to put the control of the entire state in the hands of the privileged few. Dictator Benito Mussolini put it best: “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.”

Don't get fooled by other positive sounding words such as socialism and the progressive, fake ideology of DIE, diversity, inclusion and equity. The end result is the same: to establish a Utopian world that pushes and control a stateless, atheistic and classless society.

Below are those 45 Communists Goals.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches this about expressing our gratitude for grandparents and parents:

For Christians a special gratitude is due to those from whom they have received the gift of faith, the grace of Baptism, and life in the Church. These may include parents, grandparents, other members of the family, pastors, catechists, and other teachers or friends.... (2220)

The Church this Sunday celebrates the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly.

Want to know where the woke DIE policy of diversity, inclusion and equity works as intended by the progressives who developed it? Check your local cemetery. Seriously, only in a cemetery can the DIE policy be perfectly implemented. In all institutions where the living are found, it's toxic, divisive and counter-productive. But this is an optimistic piece.

Here's the statement by Archbishop Richard Smith regarding the current wildfire in Jasper, Alberta, that has put the lives of so many in danger and causing property damage.

Today is indeed a very sad day and I wish to convey my sorrow, solidarity and support to the people of Jasper and the parish community of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Why don't we hear homilies about mortification in our parishes? Is it because, in the West, we have become accustomed to faith without suffering and sacrifice? We desire cheap grace.

This is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says about mortification:

Jesus' call to conversion and penance, like that of the prophets before him, does not aim first at outward works, 'sackcloth and ashes,' fasting and mortification, but at the conversion of the heart, interior conversion.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches this about Eucharistic adoration:

Adoration is the first act of the virtue of religion. To adore God is to acknowledge him as God, as the Creator and Savior, the Lord and Master of everything that exists, as infinite and merciful Love. "You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve," says Jesus, citing Deuteronomy (2095).

Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator.

Today, we simply share a healing prayer for our brokenness and sins by St. Padre Pio. We can pray it and ask for his intercession.

Start with: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me.

I thank you for sending your Son,

Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free.

I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me.

Country music singer and Christian John Rich believes that his hit song, “Revelation,” was given to him by God. "The Boss” told him to write and release it. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Rich said the song is a response to evil forces at work in society. These Satanic forces can now be found in entertainment, government, schools and big media.

On his X account Rich said this: “This is the most important song I’ve ever written.

Yes, a grandmother, Linda Gibbons, has been arrested in Canada for witnessing to unborn life too close to an abortion clinic. Canadians are told women must have "safe" access to abortion. However, no abortion is "safe" for the unborn baby. In Ontario alone, the Canadian government funds eight abortion clinics. It has become essentially illegal for anyone to protest against the intentional killing of the unborn baby or pray within 50 metres of an abortion clinic.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas delivered a powerful commencement address back in 2018 at Christendom College, a Catholic liberal arts school in Virginia. The speech continues to be  relevant and should be heard by all Americans and people good will. It's sad that such a great speech doesn't have at least one million views. It’s a commencement address for all seasons.

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, death and adversity; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
